Great Book For Practicing Engineers
By MechEnG
I am a practicing Mechanical Engineer and have dozens of engineering books. This book is the best all around book I have on Materials, tons of useful tables, charts and graphs. It is the first book I turn to when trying to decide what type of material to use for my designs. It covers metals, plastics, ceramics, carbon and alloy steel, stainless steels, tool steels, aluminum alloys, copper, nickel, refractory metals. Well worth the money, I have the 8th edition.
